~*Crystina's VERY COOL and FUNKY Website that Only Very RAD and HIP People Can See*~

I'm Crystina and if you can see this website, congrats! That means you're hip and cool and rad and probably really good looking too! If you just got a blank white screen, sorry; that means you're gross and smelly and lame. Sucks to suck. That or your computer is just having issues. That could be the case as well. Or you have some kind of visual impairment and are using a screen reader, in wich I case I'm sorry. I'm sure you're really cool and neat too.

So, why would I make a website in 2025? Seems like a big ol' waste of time certainly? I don't particularly intend to put anything on here that would be entertaining or informative to anybody else.

Well, because I think it's fun, and the interent should be more fun than it is. Making your own website gives you your own little sandbox online that you can play around with and build however your heart desires. Nowadays, it can feel like you only ever visit five or six websites owned by handful of megacorporations. The rare time you venture off the path, it's pages and pages of AI generated slop mucking up your Google search results. This is my small way of taking the internet back a little bit; back to a place of discovery where you never quite knew what you were going to get when you clicked the next link.

it's not as hard as you might think either. Other than a few pages for my Neopets waayyyy back in the day, I have no expereince with HTML at all. Everything I knoew is from a few tutorial pages I searched up. Does this website look professional? No. It's more than legible though, and it has plenty of intentional design choices that I think look nice. It looks pretty intimidating at first I won't lie, but it's actually more straightforward than you would think once you get into it. If you think it would be neat to try for yourself, you should!
